01256 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing tiptronic switch (f189), implausible signal to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), electrical malfunction and reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
01256 Possible Causes:
01256 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01256 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes after kat exchanges
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
