This something to do with the intake camshaft timing coolant fan (v7), open circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit / open you can see the linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
01256 Possible Causes:
01256 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 01256 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
