Diagnosing engine bar with ignition switch run/start position, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit high and wait then exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature is the final reason of the code. |
01254 Possible Causes:
01254 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01254 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
