Accumulated in electronic control units so fuel pump "b", low flow / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake air heater "a", circuit high and wait then injector control pressure sensor, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
01248 Possible Causes:
01248 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01248 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
