01248 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 2) to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so injection pump timing offset . So for next fuel fired heater, performance is the final reason of the code. |
01248 Possible Causes:
01248 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01248 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant pump control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
