01247 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, performance or change exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range is the final reason of the code. |
01247 Possible Causes:
01247 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01247 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, lower limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
