This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas recirculation flow 2, insufficient detected . So for next hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), no / incorrect basic setting/adaptation is the final reason of the code. |
01243 Possible Causes:
01243 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 01243 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
