01239 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start interference in mechatronic module and o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
01239 Possible Causes:
01239 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 01239 Code
- Inspect all the connections load signal stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
