This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, no activity run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground and wait then 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on is the final reason of the code. |
01236 Possible Causes:
01236 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01236 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
