01232 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), incorrect basic setting and secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
01232 Possible Causes:
01232 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01232 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
