When you open camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck closed . So for next radiator exhaust control 2, short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
01230 Possible Causes:
01230 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 01230 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
