When you open accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake activation glow plug control module, electrical malfunction also actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
01229 Possible Causes:
01229 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01229 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
