Staring in engine valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of central electric ecu and wait then vehicle speed signal, error message from instrument cluster will delay your vw fault. |
01226 Possible Causes:
01226 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01226 Code
- Inspect all the connections mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
