Diagnosing engine bar with turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so injection pump, timing calibration not learned also fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
01221 Possible Causes:
01221 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01221 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
