Accumulated in electronic control units so throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, open circuit also reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
01220 Possible Causes:
01220 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01220 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator valve (n331), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
