This code were stamped on VW Engine case secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit / open or nox sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
01217 Possible Causes:
01217 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 01217 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift lock, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
