Staring in engine secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake control module defective and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
01216 Possible Causes:
01216 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01216 Code
- Inspect all the connections reservoir for additive for particle filter, empty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
