01216 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), circuit low input or injector control pressure sensor, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
01216 Possible Causes:
01216 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01216 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
