01214 Description And Summary : |

When you open intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 1 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu and wait then turbocharger control module 1, implausible message is the final reason of the code. |
01214 Possible Causes:
01214 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01214 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure, too low - engine cranking
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
