01213 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so please check dtc memory of central electric ecu . On the other hand relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
01213 Possible Causes:
01213 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 01213 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
