01212 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine starter interlock, circuit short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system diesel particle filter: excessive soot accumulation or 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on is the final reason of the code. |
01212 Possible Causes:
01212 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01212 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
