01212 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine control module defective causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system data bus powertrain, missing message from control module level control also exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high is the final reason of the code. |
01212 Possible Causes:
01212 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01212 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel level sensor 2, circuit high voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
