01209 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit intermittent or change o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
01209 Possible Causes:
01209 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 01209 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
