01208 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start power supply terminal 30, voltage too low you can see the transmission faulty is the final reason of the code. |
01208 Possible Causes:
01208 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01208 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
