01208 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to b+ or change valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), interruption / short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
01208 Possible Causes:
01208 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01208 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
