01206 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing power supply (b+) terminal 15, implausible run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit range / performance and oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, internal resistance too large is the final reason of the code. |
01206 Possible Causes:
01206 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 01206 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit low voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
