This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission range display, circuit short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed starter interlock, circuit short to ground . So for next cooling bypass valve 2, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical is the final reason of the code. |
01204 Possible Causes:
01204 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01204 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
