01202 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ng high pressure valve (n372), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit and coolant fan control module 2, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
01202 Possible Causes:
01202 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01202 Code
- Inspect all the connections
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
