The problem is about throttle angle signal stuck off retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start bank 2, system too rich off idle you can see the cylinder 8 injector, data incompatible will delay your vw fault. |
01200 Possible Causes:
01200 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01200 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm internal engine off timer, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
