This code were stamped on VW Engine case data bus powertrain, implausible message of the abs control module to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) . So for next ignition switch run/start position, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
012 Possible Causes:
012 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 012 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
