012 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing internal control module, driver error causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' low or radiator exhaust control 1, short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
012 Possible Causes:
012 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 012 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
