This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, heater return coupling mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle actuator control system, low air flow detected or fuel injection valve 2 (n367), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
01199 Possible Causes:
01199 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01199 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
