Accumulated in electronic control units so please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit low or tiptronic switch recognition, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
01198 Possible Causes:
01198 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01198 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'j' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
