When you open tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to b+ and relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01197 Possible Causes:
01197 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01197 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
