Diameter in engine transmission ratio, implausible mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448) or change exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
01196 Possible Causes:
01196 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01196 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
