01193 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ignition coil 'd' primary control, short to plus also engine torque reduction, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
01193 Possible Causes:
01193 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 01193 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
