This code were stamped on VW Engine case low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448) also secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
01187 Possible Causes:
01187 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01187 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
