Staring in engine secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit low . On the other hand engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match is the final reason of the code. |
01185 Possible Causes:
01185 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, ice blockage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
