This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles fuel pump, electronics faulty and a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
01183 Possible Causes:
01183 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01183 Code
- Inspect all the connections mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
