Staring in engine exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system please check dtc memory of air condition ecu or exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
01183 Possible Causes:
01183 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 01183 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger / supercharger boost pressure not detected - mechanical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
