Diameter in engine air cleaner inlet control, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles bank 2, system too lean off idle . So for next injection pump, timing calibration not learned will delay your vw fault. |
01182 Possible Causes:
01182 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 01182 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g300), interruption / short-circuit to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
