The problem is about engine torque reduction, open / short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so control of valves pump / nozzle, electrical errors in the electric circuit . On the other hand charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
01181 Possible Causes:
01181 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 01181 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2 sensor 1, internal resistance implausible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
