Diagnosing engine bar with cylinder 9 above knock threshold run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) + (g185), implausible signal also o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich is the final reason of the code. |
01179 Possible Causes:
01179 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01179 Code
- Inspect all the connections brake pedal position / accelerator pedal position, incompatible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
