01177 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault transmission control unit relay, short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal low . On the other hand load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
01177 Possible Causes:
01177 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 01177 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, software version controller
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
