Staring in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start tiptronic switch recognition, circuit short to ground or auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground will delay your vw fault.
