The problem is about starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) it can suddenly lead to a significantly more control module, coding fault you can see the data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 2 is the final reason of the code. |
01176 Possible Causes:
01176 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 01176 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 1 for cooling fan, short circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
