When you open secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit also ignition coil 'f' primary control, short to plus is the final reason of the code. |
01176 Possible Causes:
01176 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01176 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
