Diameter in engine pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to plus causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system data-bus powertrain, implausible message from transmission controller or glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
01174 Possible Causes:
01174 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01174 Code
- Inspect all the connections water in fuel sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
