The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake flap motor 2 (v275), no signal or b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
01173 Possible Causes:
01173 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01173 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
