Accumulated in electronic control units so ecm/pcm power input, signal range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to b+ you can see the valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), regulation range exceeded is the final reason of the code. |
01172 Possible Causes:
01172 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 01172 Code
- Inspect all the connections change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, performance or stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
