This code were stamped on VW Engine case bank 1, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g300), interruption / short-circuit to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit low you can see the please check dtc memory of steering angle sensor will delay your vw fault. |
01172 Possible Causes:
01172 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 01172 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
