Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust bank 4 main catalyst, effectiveness too low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
01171 Possible Causes:
01171 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 01171 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
