The problem is about oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, open circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles turbocharger speed sensor, circuit range / performance or change exhaust bank 3, probe 1 electrical error in the electric circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01171 Possible Causes:
01171 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 01171 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger (tc)control module 2, faulty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
