Staring in engine a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor brake pedal position / accelerator pedal position, incompatible you can see the throttle actuator control system, forced engine shutdown is the final reason of the code. |
01170 Possible Causes:
01170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01170 Code
- Inspect all the connections reservoir for additive for particle filter, empty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
