Diagnosing engine bar with interference in mechatronic module retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), regulation range exceeded or change fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
01170 Possible Causes:
01170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 01170 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pressure sensor 2, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
