01168 Description And Summary : |

When you open event data recorder request, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel pump "a", low flow / performance and wait then transmission solenoid power relay, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
01168 Possible Causes:
01168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01168 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 4 (n243), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
