01168 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine o2 sensor signals swapped bank 1 sensor 2 / bank 1 sensor 3 to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit range / performance or o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean is the final reason of the code. |
01168 Possible Causes:
01168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01168 Code
- Inspect all the connections barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
