The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel pressure regulator valve (n276), mechanical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle actuator control system, stuck open . So for next throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
01167 Possible Causes:
01167 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01167 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel fired heater, disabled
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
