When you open altitude adaptation, signal out of tolerance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles signal for back-up lights, short to b+ and wait then hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too high is the final reason of the code. |
01167 Possible Causes:
01167 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 01167 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 signal too slowly
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
