This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic . On the other hand ignition coil cylinder 16, low circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01165 Possible Causes:
01165 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01165 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, lower stop not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
