The problem is about exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 1, out of range mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance and turbocharger 2 control module (j725), voltage supply outside permissible range will delay your vw fault. |
01165 Possible Causes:
01165 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01165 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
