Diameter in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit range / performance and wait then secondary air injection system control 'a', circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
01164 Possible Causes:
01164 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 01164 Code
- Inspect all the connections givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
