The problem is about throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles cylinder 5 above knock threshold you can see the exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large will delay your vw fault. |
01163 Possible Causes:
01163 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01163 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
