01163 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more system too lean at higher load, bank 2 you can see the secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off is the final reason of the code. |
01163 Possible Causes:
01163 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 01163 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
