This something to do with the intake camshaft timing tiptronic switch recognition, circuit short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust pressure sensor 2, high you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
01162 Possible Causes:
01162 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 01162 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'f' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
