The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault injector control pressure, too high - engine off to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit also please check dtc memory of transmission ecu will delay your vw fault. |
01161 Possible Causes:
01161 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 01161 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
